GTA 6: Cyberleek token drops 71% after the Lucia video

Cyberleek's token lost 71% of its market cap in under 24 hours, Polygon reports. The leaker's scheme, which tied each money milestone to a Lucia clip, is no longer convincing buyers.

What happened to the CYBERLEEK token?

Before the episode, the token's market cap sat just under $1.7 million, Polygon writes. It climbed to a peak of $8.2 million, driven by milestones Cyberleek set himself: $4 million for fully nude Lucia footage, $6 million for 4K clips. All were passed within hours. Less than a day later the chart collapsed.

According to the same outlet, Cyberleek had dumped his developer tokens earlier this year, so the 71% drop did not come from him but from outside investors leaving. The leaker may still have earned transaction fees during the frenzy, Polygon adds. A fan quoted by the site sums it up: he "over played his hand" by offering the strongest bait at the lowest tiers.

Does the ultimatum still stand?

On paper, yes. Dexerto recalls the two conditions put to Rockstar and Take-Two: a real physical disc edition plus a public apology, or a build released if the market cap reaches $30 million. Dexerto noted a value near $6 million when it reported, with the caveat that it might already have changed. With the token far below that level, the threshold looks much further away than yesterday.

Cyberleek has not backed down: he posted new milestones, this time for clips of tank sequences, a private lap dance or a beach massacre, per Polygon. Is a market cap the same as cash raised?

No, and GinjFo makes that point: market cap is the reference price multiplied by the number of tokens in circulation, a theoretical value, not money received by the issuer. Reaching $30 million does not mean $30 million collected, and liquidity decides what holders can actually sell. GinjFo adds that nobody outside has verified that a full build, with the story through the credits, exists.

Why it matters

The threat of a build released before November 19 loses financial credibility, without disappearing: nothing says the leaker will not post something else to revive the token. Rockstar has not commented on this specific episode. Still unknown: what the claimed build actually contains, and what Cyberleek does next. Be careful with links and downloads that claim to offer the game; they are mostly traps.
