GTA 6 comes in two playable editions, Standard at €79.99 and Ultimate at €99.99, plus a €399.99 collector box that does not include the game.

With the November 19 launch a month away, readers keep asking which edition to buy. The answer is simpler than it looks, because the three products are not in the same category. Here is what the Rockstar Newswire, Variety and Polygon report, and what nobody knows yet.
Standard costs €79.99 in Europe, Ultimate €99.99: a €20 gap. According to Polygon, Ultimate adds no story. It brings vehicles, weapons and shop access, such as the Grotti Cheetah '95, the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, variants of Jason's and Lucia's guns, a Dinka Enduro and a Crest Kayak for Jason's hideout. Rockstar says the bonuses are spread through the story.
You play the exact same game. The extra changes neither the map nor the missions. If you love cars and customisation it makes sense. Otherwise it is comfort.
Take-Two said Ultimate is pre-ordered more than Standard, a point we covered in our pre-order article. That describes buyer behaviour, not advice. Ultimate is digital only, which matters if you want a box.

The Goodtime State, the Vice City Collection on the official store (store.rockstargames.com), does not contain the game. It is a merchandise box sold while supplies last, as we explained here. You still need to buy one of the two editions. Our goodies page lists the items.
According to GTA Boom, a digital purchase on the PlayStation Store, Standard or Ultimate, before November 20 earns one month of GTA+, which you claim yourself and cancel afterwards to avoid renewal. The conditions come from that site, so check at checkout. Details are in our free month guide. Preload opens on November 12.
For most players Standard is enough: it gives the whole game. Ultimate is for those who want vehicles and weapons from the start. The collector is a shelf piece. Still unknown: whether the Ultimate bonuses will be sold separately later, and what the online follow-up will contain. Current prices are on our price page.
