A Pennsylvania GameStop sign advertises a paper collector's map with boxed pre-orders, but neither Rockstar nor GameStop has confirmed it.

A handwritten sign at a Pennsylvania GameStop promises a "physical collector's map" with boxed GTA 6 pre-orders, Notebookcheck reports. Rockstar has confirmed nothing, and everything rests on that sheet of paper for now.
The photo first spread on Reddit, according to Notebookcheck. It says pre-orders include a paper collector's map and the Vintage Vice City cosmetic pack, and that customers can pick up their purchase a week before November 19. The redemption code gives no early access. Resell Calendar adds that the same sign mentions "Digital Deluxe" content, an edition Rockstar does not sell: its lineup is Standard and Ultimate only.
That detail weighs heavily. Several fans see a makeshift document, and Resell Calendar notes that the original post was removed by the subreddit's moderators.
According to GTA Boom, two people say they called their store and were told the box includes a map. But Cade Onder, who writes for IGN and ComicBook, called five GameStop stores and found "total confusion", with staff who knew nothing about a map. He has contacted corporate. Neither Rockstar nor GameStop has answered publicly. So we have one sign and two employees who may have read that same sign.

Since the first GTA in 1997, every box has held a map of the world, Notebookcheck recalls, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 included. GTA 6 is the first in the series without a disc: the retail box holds only a code, as we saw with the Amazon sell-out. The only official map is the double-sided poster in the $400 Goodtime State collector's box, covered on our goodies page. Rockstar edited an online version that first carried place names, a leak precaution discussed in our piece on the map and regions.
For now, nothing. A paper bonus would be the first perk reserved for boxes, and it would finally give a reason to buy a code in a store rather than online. Until Rockstar or GameStop explain themselves, the pre-order stays the same everywhere: Standard at 79.99 €, Ultimate at 99.99 € digitally, and the Vintage Vice City pack for all.
