Take-Two Interactive will report its fiscal 2027 second-quarter results on Monday, November 9, after the US market close, with a conference call at 4:30 p.m. Eastern, GTA BOOM reports. It is the publisher's last financial update before GTA 6 launches ten days later.
The notice is a routine scheduling announcement: per GTA BOOM, it does not mention GTA 6. Still, these calls have become the main investor window into the game, since Take-Two owns Rockstar Games. The quarter covered, July to September, ends before launch, so not a single dollar of GTA 6 sales will appear. Those come a quarter later.
Expect talk rather than numbers: pre-order momentum, a reaffirmed November 19 date, perhaps hints about what follows. None of it is announced, and the unlock time, for instance, is still unknown.
The market mood is tense. Benzinga says the stock closed Tuesday at 00.32, down 4.07% on the day and about 21% year to date. It adds that the company kept its fiscal 2027 bookings forecast at billion to .2 billion, below the .86 billion analysts expected.

On demand, Benzinga quotes CEO Strauss Zelnick from August: "The level of pre-orders is unprecedented and astonishing, but they are so unprecedented that we just don't know how it'll translate into sales." Newzoo, cited by CNBC via Benzinga, puts global pre-orders at 60 million. Take-Two has not confirmed the budget: Axios reports billion, Fortune billion to .5 billion, and Zelnick would only say the game "was expensive".
Benzinga also reports that Nikita Bier called GTA 6 "the swan song for the Big Studio Era" on X, as AI tools make game creation easier. Elon Musk replied with one word: "Yeah." These are two social media opinions, not data about the game. Zelnick has long argued AI cannot create anything new, according to the same source.

For players, nothing changes on the date: GTA 6 still launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with preloading on November 12. For the publisher, November 9 is the last chance to reassure markets before real sales are known. The first actual sales figures only arrive with the following results.
