TheGamer, via OpenCritic, says GTA 6 is the best-selling PS5 pre-order in several regions with the Ultimate, Standard and upgrade versions.

GTA 6 takes the first three places in the PS5 pre-order chart, writes TheGamer in a piece republished by OpenCritic on November 5. The outlet says this holds "in various regions, including the UK" and gives no sales figure.
According to TheGamer, the $100 Ultimate Edition ranks first, the $80 standard edition second, and the $20 upgrade to Ultimate, for those who pre-ordered standard and changed their mind, third. In France the announced prices are 99.99 euros for the Ultimate, digital only, and 79.99 euros for the standard.
This is a store ranking, not a copy count. TheGamer admits there will be no solid numbers until release, when Take-Two chooses to share them, and concludes the game has "almost certainly" sold millions. That is an inference, not a figure.
Rockstar and Take-Two have published no number. Sensor Tower estimated last week 7.71 million digital pre-orders on PS5 and Xbox, about 74 percent on PlayStation, as detailed in our article on the 750 million dollar estimate. These remain outside estimates. Take-Two reports on Monday, November 9, but the quarter ends in September.

Competition exists: TheGamer notes another major release this Thursday, an Ocarina of Time remake, and GTA 6 still leads the PS5 chart.
Nothing changes for the date or price: November 19 release. The ranking mainly shows the Ultimate edition is the most common choice, in line with Sensor Tower. Real volumes will wait for Take-Two after launch.
