GTA 6 "box" editions would be available from November 10, two days earlier than planned, according to JVFrance and a post by the X account @gtasix_, which cites iGrandTheftAuto. We found no Rockstar statement on this point, so it remains unconfirmed officially.
According to @gtasix_, physical editions will be available for pickup from November 10 instead of November 12. Each copy contains a code to pre-load the game. JVFrance writes that Rockstar reportedly changed the box date to match the digital pre-load, moved up to November 10, as we explained in our pre-load article. The game itself only unlocks at the worldwide launch on November 19.
No disc: the box holds only a download code, according to Rockstar's support page reported at the time. The game weighs 212 GB, which partly explains the choice. La Crème du Gaming also recalls, citing Rockstar's November 3 Newswire, that the Leonida map is not in the box: it is offered as a free download at launch, or as an official poster at $0.99 on the Rockstar Store. JVFrance's editorial comment is harsh: buying a box to get a mere code, it says, removes the point of the physical format, since the buyer owns nothing more than a digital buyer.

For anyone who reserved a box, the 212 GB download could start the same day as digital, which matters on a slow connection.
