Xbox unveiled a one-of-a-kind console on November 3: the Series X-BITE, a working Xbox Series X housed inside an alligator measuring more than five feet, according to Polygon. IGN says it was made to celebrate the wildlife of Leonida just weeks before GTA 6.
I thought it was a fake at first. It is not: it is real workshop craft, and there is a prize attached.
Per Polygon, an illuminated Xbox logo on the side shows the Series X running inside. A custom controller covered in bite marks sits between the jaws, and the eyes use Xbox green with pupils inspired by the logo. Inven Global adds that Xbox says no real alligator was used and that the console is playable but better kept for display.
It was built with John Nolan Studio, a creature and animatronics specialist credited on The Witcher, Jurassic World Dominion and HBO's upcoming Harry Potter series, according to IGN and Polygon.

Only one exists. The sweepstakes runs from November 3 to 10, 2026 and is open to legal US residents aged 18 or older, Polygon writes. Entrants follow @Xbox on X, Instagram or TikTok, repost the contest post with #XbiteSweepstakes, and keep a public account. The potential winner gets 48 hours to respond. No purchase is necessary.
Xbox never names GTA 6 in its announcement, Inven Global notes. But the alligator is a striking image from the trailer, Florida inspires Leonida, and players immediately made the connection. Rockstar has said nothing, so this is a marketing wink, not a confirmed partnership.
GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. See the release page and our goodies roundup for the rest.
Nothing changes for the game itself, but Xbox is joining the GTA 6 conversation without being able to name it, and it does so with an alligator. It shows how loud the November 19 launch will be.
