A Reddit user compared a GTA 6 screenshot with a photo taken at Joia Beach in Miami, and many fans could not tell which was the game, Notebookcheck reports.

Which of these two images is the game? According to Notebookcheck, the question caught a share of GTA 6 fans off guard on Reddit. User u/Alex200496 put a Vice City screenshot next to a photograph taken at Joia Beach on Watson Island, in Biscayne Bay between Downtown Miami and Miami Beach.
The outlet notes the two images do not line up perfectly, despite what the original post suggests. Even so, many users admitted they could not tell them apart at first glance. Those who have seen the screenshot countless times spotted it immediately.
Notebookcheck lists three. The water: despite an impressive render, its surface still looks a bit too uniform next to real water. The vegetation, much sparser in the screenshot. And the skyline: users point out the missing One Thousand Museum and 900 Biscayne towers, two landmarks for anyone who knows Miami.
Vice City is not a copy of Miami. Rockstar draws on the city, its waterfronts and its light, then rewrites the geography for its fictional Leonida. We covered another mirror game with the real club that becomes The Vault in the game in our Space Miami article.

Nothing changes on Rockstar's side: this is a fan comparison, not an announcement. It does show the level of polish the community expects before November 19. The real rendering on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S can only be judged at launch. Meanwhile, the release page sums up everything confirmed.
