A Rockstar support policy allows removal of isolated videos of the ending or big story reveals, Insider Gaming reports. The rule dates from January 2025.

Rockstar may pull GTA 6 spoilers even after November 19. Insider Gaming spotted a policy on Rockstar's support page about posting copyrighted material, including an explicit paragraph on spoilers.

It covers videos showing the ending of the game, an edited combination of cutscenes or plot dialogue, or "any other big reveal in the story". Cutscenes are fine inside a full playthrough or a narrated Let's Play, but isolated cinematic videos will be removed. If in doubt, Rockstar asks creators to write in and describe the scene and its context.
With the New Zealand time zone trick, some players could start early and post key story moments before everyone else. Our time zone launch breakdown shows why: the first hours will be the most watched. Insider Gaming says Rockstar and Take-Two are known for acting fast on this kind of content, and notes the policy gives no date after which a spoiler becomes acceptable.
One caveat. According to Insider Gaming, the page was last updated in January 2025, so it was not written for GTA 6: it is a blanket policy for all Rockstar titles. The writer points out that full GTA 5 endings were still easy to find on YouTube days after its 2013 release. The rule exists; enforcement has always been uneven.

The same page says Rockstar loves gameplay clips and machinima, and sometimes shares them on the Newswire and social media. The target is isolated story reveals, not playing and showing the game.
For streamers and video makers nothing changes: a narrated playthrough is tolerated, a montage of the ending or big scenes can be taken down. For everyone else, caution on social media after November 19. What is unknown: whether Rockstar will tighten enforcement for launch. Nothing points that way yet. All key dates are on our release page.
