A PlayStation France page reportedly listed GTA 6's PS5 Pro enhancements for a short time: PSSR and advanced ray tracing. That is what Frandroid reports, based on a Reddit post (GamingLeaksAndRumours) that has since been deleted, like the page. Neither Sony nor Rockstar has responded, and Frandroid says it could not view the page itself, so this stays unconfirmed.

What did the removed page say?

According to Gameblog, the PS5 Pro version would get two upgrades: PSSR, the console's AI upscaling, and higher-quality ray tracing (reflections, shadows, lighting). PC Guide adds that the page also repeated the features already pushed for PS5: DualSense haptics and adaptive triggers, Tempest 3D Audio and near-instant load times.

The game already carries a "PS5 Pro Enhanced" badge on the PlayStation Store, Frandroid notes, without Sony detailing the gains. We covered those expectations in our piece on hoped-for PS5 Pro optimisations.

Prettier, but not necessarily smoother?

The reported page said nothing about 60 FPS or a 40 FPS mode. PSSR and ray tracing load the GPU, Frandroid points out, while the PS5 Pro's Zen 2 CPU is very close to the base PS5's. In a dense open world, the CPU is often the limit. Gameblog adds that Rockstar North representatives allegedly mentioned a 30 FPS target on PS5 at launch during private previews; that is second-hand and Rockstar has not confirmed it publicly.

PC Guide also notes that Sony launched QSSR, a lighter upscaler for the standard PS5, on October 1. Nothing suggests it is planned for GTA 6.

What is confirmed and what is not

Confirmed: release on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and preload from November 10 (see the release page). Unconfirmed: any specific PS5 Pro feature, frame rate or resolution. None of the outlets cited has seen a capture of the page.

Why it matters

For anyone weighing a PS5 Pro before November 19, nothing here is decisive: a deleted page and a vanished Reddit post are not a spec sheet. Better to wait for a Rockstar or Sony announcement, which could land before launch, than to buy a console for this one game.
