Thirteen years after its release, GTA V is about to hand over. Presse-citron reports that an event called "Last Ride" is gathering thousands of players on social media. The plan: one last group ride across Los Santos on the night of November 18, hours before GTA 6 launches.
Per the outlet, players want to meet in GTA Online to travel the map one more time and celebrate the game's thirteenth anniversary. The post quoted by Presse-citron calls it "Last Dance": the name varies by retelling, the event is the same. It is a player initiative with no announced link to Rockstar, and we have no confirmed location, time or attendance figure.
November 18 is the eve of launch. GTA V, released in 2013, remains one of the most played games in the world, and its online mode outlived any roadmap. We already covered these thirteen years of waiting. A group farewell fits the moment, like a last night before moving out.
Presse-citron also restates the firm facts: GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 in the state of Leonida, with Lucia and Jason, and preload from November 10. The two games do not exclude each other: nothing has been announced about GTA Online closing at GTA 6's launch.

Nothing on Rockstar's side, but a community moment worth following: it shows GTA 6's arrival is felt as a page turning, not just a purchase. Find reactions on the community page.
