A Reddit user applied DLSS 5 to the GTA 6 Extended Look trailer, but the test is unofficial and says nothing about the PC version, which still has no date.

No PC version announced, so fans tinker. According to HardwareCooking, citing Wccftech, Reddit user RevolutionaryBus8208 applied DLSS 5 and 3x frame generation to the GTA VI Extended Look trailer on r/GTA6unmoderated. The video goes from 30 to 90 frames per second, in real time according to the author.

The setup is described as improvised: a PS5, a 4K HDR capture card or Remote Play, the Veyra 2.1.1 tool (neural rendering, upscaling, frame generation) on a GeForce RTX 4080, MFG Unlock to enable Multi Frame Generation, and a 4K 144 Hz TV. It is strictly unofficial: neither NVIDIA nor Rockstar is involved.
Impressions are mixed. Environments look impressive, faces a bit odd, which HardwareCooking blames on the missing data DLSS 5 normally relies on (geometry, lighting, textures), absent from flat video. At 90 fps, visible ghosting appears, expected from a 30 fps source. Playing through a capture card and external processing also adds latency.
It is not a preview of the PC version, which still has no date, as we summed up in our GTA 6 PC piece. Consoles come first on November 19, with a 212 GB preload from November 10.

Nothing for players: no DLSS 5 integration is announced for GTA 6. The demo shows the technology needs game data to deliver its best results. A real demonstration is needed before judging. The release page lists what is confirmed.
