Buying a game to save money: that is Mark Tilbury's pitch. The British entrepreneur, who describes himself as a self-made millionaire and social media educator, says in a video that GTA 6 saves you $5,000, IGN reports. Dexerto and Mashable also picked it up. The game launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

According to the quote several GTA news accounts share, the reasoning starts from play time: "Let's say you play for four hours every evening, that's 50 nights of entertainment." The idea seems to be comparing those evenings with costlier pastimes. I could not watch the video itself: the IGN excerpt we have is short, so the detail behind the $5,000 figure stays the author's own.
It is lighthearted money-advice content, not a study. IGN notes that for players in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, the value depends on local pricing, which was not confirmed at the time of writing. PlayStation Store and Xbox Store prices can differ from the US listing, hence the advice to check your local store before pre-ordering.
In France, prices are known: €79.99 for the standard edition and €99.99 for the Ultimate edition, digital only. Details are on our price page. And if the price debate interests you, our piece on which edition to pick covers the options.

Nothing changes factually: neither price nor date has moved. But the pitch shows the game is now defended as good value per hour played. Take it with a smile.
