Standard is 79.99 €, Ultimate 99.99 € digital only, and the collector box 399.99 € without the game: here is how to choose before November 19.

GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in three forms so far: the Standard Edition at 79.99 €, the Ultimate Edition at 99.99 € and The Goodtime State collector box at 399.99 €. The first two are games. The third does not include the game.
To play on day one, Standard is enough: same game, same date, and preloading opens on November 12. Ultimate costs 20 € more and is digital only. The full contents of that edition are not in the sources we checked, so we do not list them; they remain to be confirmed rather than guessed.
One practical point, covered in our story on the disc-less box: according to Make Tech Easier, which relies on Rockstar's support page, the boxed version only holds a download code. There is no boxed Ultimate, but the upgrade can be bought afterwards on the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store.
The Goodtime State is a collectible sold without the game, so the price of the game comes on top if you want to play. It is a fan purchase, not a third edition to compare. Our price and goodies pages list the offers.

The pre-order bonus, the Vintage Vice City Pack, is the same digital or boxed. Another perk, covered in our story on the free GTA+ month, applies to digital pre-orders. If you hesitate, these matter more than the 20 € gap between editions.
The choice comes down to budget and format. Standard is enough for November 19. A boxed copy means a code and a download, no disc. Ultimate is digital, and its exact contents are still to be confirmed. Any new official detail will go to the release page.
