Three weeks before launch, scammers are crowding around GTA 6. franceinfo reports this Saturday a surge of fake early-access offers and bogus pre-order sites, and cybersecurity expert Luis Corrons expects it to get worse.
According to franceinfo, hackers are exploiting fan excitement ahead of the November 19 release. Luis Corrons told the broadcaster, in French: "We fear the situation will intensify. There is a strong chance we will see many more scams in the week before GTA VI comes out."
Franceinfo points to one domain, gta6now.org, among the game-related sites flagged as dangerous. It was last updated in 2013 and has nothing to do with Rockstar.
Stick to what is confirmed: the game costs 79.99 € for the standard edition and 99.99 € for Ultimate (digital only), and the boxed version only contains a download code. A price far below that, an "early access" or a key delivered before the November 12 preload date is a scam. Rockstar has announced no early access.

Buy through your console's official store or a known retailer, and never enter PlayStation or Xbox credentials on a page opened from a message. We already covered the fake PS5 emulators stealing passwords, and our guide to cancelling a pre-order still applies if you paid in the wrong place. Official prices are on our price page.
Nothing changes for Rockstar, but the calendar works against players: according to Luis Corrons, fake offers will keep growing as the date nears. Distrusting anything outside the official store is the first reflex to adopt before November 19.
