In GTA 6, summoning your car will go through an app called Scooter Brothers, according to IGN, which draws on Edge magazine's preview published on 29 October. The name is a direct nod to a GTA IV meme.

Where does the name come from?

In 2008, on the Justin.tv channel FourPlayerPodcast (now Twitch), host Brad Simons rode a moped around Liberty City, met another rider and jokingly called him a "scooter brother". IGN says the video has more than 7.5 million YouTube views. Rockstar had already winked at it in GTA V: switching to Trevor could show him reenacting the scene with a terrified pedestrian.

How does the vehicle call work?

Per Edge, quoted by IGN, an NPC delivers your car, then leaves on a scooter, presumably driven by another "brother". Whether these couriers get their own lines, or when the service can be used, is not said. Rockstar has added nothing so far.

A first for single-player GTA?

GTA Online has let you call your car since launch, and Red Dead Redemption brings your horse if it is close enough. IGN notes this is the first time a single-player GTA allows it without cheats, and that your weapons and some gear sit in the trunk, so losing the car will cost more than in earlier games. Why it matters

Not much for the schedule: release stays set for 19 November 2026 (see the release page). But it shows Rockstar slipping community memes into mechanics, not only dialogue. The open question is whether getting your car back becomes too easy.
