The digital feature is out, with reports highlighting access to the world, more interiors and new screenshots. The scale comparisons still need careful reading.

The Edge issue previously announced for GTA 6 has now reached readers digitally. VICE reports that its sixteen-page feature follows a visit to Rockstar’s Edinburgh headquarters and includes new screenshots. Reports from Notebookcheck and IGN Pakistan put particular emphasis on exploring Leonida early. That moves the story beyond the cover announcement and towards specific details about how players will encounter the world.

IGN Pakistan says the map will open relatively early in the game. Its account contrasts that approach with older entries that used story progression to restrict access to parts of the world. Early access to a region does not automatically mean every mission or activity there will be available. The consulted text does not establish an exact point in the opening hours when all those systems become accessible.
Scale comparisons also require care. Insider Gaming reports a map roughly twice the size of GTA V and a landmass approaching the combined playable areas of GTA IV, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2. Notebookcheck repeats the latter comparison. Neither account supplies a consistent measurement method or a verified area figure. Converting these descriptions into a precise number of square kilometres would add certainty the reporting does not provide.
According to Notebookcheck, Aaron Garbut describes substantially more interiors than in earlier games. The report points to homes with signs of their occupants and developers still finding places they had not explored. Interiors have appeared in earlier coverage, but the Edge visit adds a fresh setting for those claims and connects them to how freely the player can move around Leonida.

VICE also describes more than ten new screenshots showing locations and different looks for Jason and Lucia. The consulted Insider Gaming article alternates between twelve and fourteen images, so we are avoiding a definitive count. The image illustrating this article is an existing official Rockstar asset, rather than a claim to reproduce an exclusive frame from the magazine. The distinction helps keep the new reporting separate from our illustration.
A larger world is useful to players only through the places and encounters it contains. The preview therefore raises a more interesting question than raw distance: how often will exploration produce a reason to stop? Early access and additional interiors suggest possibilities, but do not quantify the finished experience. Our GTA 6 journal will track further details. For now, the feature provides a reported glimpse of that world rather than a complete account of every activity or building.
