Virgin Media Ireland is hiring one player to test GTA 6 for eight hours at 100 euros an hour, 800 euros in total, game included, according to Clubic. It is a prize draw open to adult residents of Ireland, and Rockstar has nothing to do with it.

How does the Virgin Media offer work?

The operator calls it a job on its page, but Clubic stresses it is a contest with official rules. One winner will be picked. They play GTA 6 for eight hours over a week, in one go or in short sessions. Virgin Media buys the game. You do not need to be a customer, but you must live in the Republic of Ireland and be of age.

The entry asks for a name, date of birth, phone number, email, Instagram or TikTok accounts and a few lines of motivation. Entries close on 15 November and the winner is contacted within seven days of the deadline, per Clubic.

What is the catch?

According to Clubic, the winner must have their review approved by Virgin Media before posting it on social media, and it must never show the game. GameRant, relayed by OpenCritic, also mentions conditions and a prize of about 890 dollars, which matches the 800 euros.

The timing follows Rockstar's: release on 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, digital preload from 12 November, no PC version announced. Dates are on the release page.

Why it matters

Nothing changes for Rockstar, which has not reacted, or for players outside Ireland. It shows brands keep piling onto the launch, as with Generator's Amsterdam contest. A review approved by the company that commissions it says little about the game; independent reviews will have to wait for the embargo, expected around 18 November according to several outlets.
