The 210 GB figure has been circulating since the day before. According to GeeksLands, the account PlayStation Game Size, which tracks game sizes in PlayStation Store data, says GTA 6 will take 210 GB on PS5. GeeksLands adds that Insider Gaming says it corroborated the figure. The number can still change, and Rockstar has not published any official size.
The detail matters: this is not a statement from the publisher, but a reading of data by a third party, then picked up by the press. Mashable reports the figure as what the account says it found. No other official element confirms it for now.
Three points are solid. Pre-loading on PS5 and Xbox starts on November 12, and the game launches on November 19. The size itself remains a reported estimate, aimed at the standard edition on PS5. The other editions and the Xbox version have not been given a figure in the texts we read.

The comparison is also circulating. HardwareCooking says 210 GB is about double Red Dead Redemption 2 at its launch. The figure is not trivial, even if it remains a storage number and not proof.
If the figure holds, a PS5 with part of its storage already used will struggle to fit the game alongside other titles. GeeksLands recalls the path in the settings: Settings, then Storage, then Console storage. Before deleting anything, check that your saves are up to date. The same site also mentions adding an M.2 SSD as an option.
Physical copies do not change the question. According to Martin Cid Magazine, the box sold in stores contains a download code, not a disc. Every copy is therefore downloaded in full, over each household's own connection.
For now, the only solid date is the pre-load on November 12. The rest depends on an official figure from Rockstar, which has not arrived. For background, read our first article on the size and the article on download times. The launch date and time are on the release page.
