The tracker lists November 12 preloading and a midnight November 19 unlock. Rockstar has not confirmed the details; checking storage now could help.

GTA 6 could require 210 GB on PS5, according to PlayStation Game Size, which tracks PlayStation Store data. The account also lists November 12 for preloading and midnight on November 19 for release. Rockstar has not confirmed these details. For anyone juggling a full console library, the report offers a practical reason to check free space before downloads begin.

Insider Gaming reports the same 210 GB figure and says it can corroborate the information. ActuGaming also attributes that size to the PlayStation 5 edition. This gives the report more support than an isolated social media guess, although it still does not amount to an announcement from Rockstar. The requirement could change before the download reaches players.
This is also a different lead from the earlier claim about a 200 GB development build. PlayStation Game Size is reporting a PS5 download figure. File size alone cannot establish how long the story lasts, how many missions it contains or what performance players should expect. It tells us about a potential storage requirement, rather than providing a new description of the game itself.
The original post lists November 12 for preloading, one week before the November 19 release. Its release-time entry says “Midnight”, but the captured text does not specify a time zone or explain how territories will be handled. That is not enough to promise one simultaneous worldwide unlock or a particular local time. Our release page brings together the calendar information.

TwistedVoxel notes that the Xbox Store has not supplied a confirmed download size and still shows an approximate placeholder. The PS5 report should therefore not be treated as a measurement for Xbox Series X|S. It does not establish the size of a potential launch update either. Those are separate questions that remain open.
Our practical advice is to clear more than the reported 210 GB rather than leave exactly that amount free. Extra room would provide a buffer if the requirement changes or an update arrives. This is a precaution, not an official GTA 6 specification. Review games you no longer use first; a crowded library does not automatically mean buying another drive is necessary.
If removing unused installations is insufficient, Sony’s support guide explains how a compatible M.2 SSD can expand PS5 storage and run PS5 games. Check its compatibility and cooling requirements before purchasing or installing one. Prepare the space now, then check the console’s actual requirement when preloading opens. The reported number is useful for planning, while the final download will settle the question.
