Rockstar would have started sending GTA 6 review codes to the press. Notebookcheck relays leaker NateTheHate2 on X, who says outlets have begun receiving copies. Rockstar has not confirmed anything.

If true, reviewers get just over three weeks before the November 19 release. The site says the review embargo is believed to lift on November 18, one day before launch, a date NateTheHate2 repeats.

What time will GTA 6 reviews go live?

According to Notebookcheck in a second piece, a leak points to an embargo lift on November 18 between 12:01 and 1:01 PM CET. La Crème Du Gaming credits that leak to a ResetEra user called BlackBate. None of it is official: neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has given a date or a time. We covered it in our embargo article, with the same caveats.

Why is Shirrako's name going around?

The rumor comes from a post by YouTuber Shirrako, known for commentary-free full playthroughs and for posting endings early. He shared a controller and a palm tree emoji, which fans read as a nod to Vice City. Notebookcheck says it is not certain he got a code, though he has had early access to big games before.

La Crème Du Gaming is blunter: the post never mentions GTA 6, shows nothing, and nothing proves a copy was sent. It adds that review copies come under strict NDAs, and that Rockstar, burned by the 2022 leak, is reputed to hand out watermarked builds. That is a reputation, not a verified fact.

Should you fear spoilers before November 19?

Notebookcheck notes that wider distribution of codes raises the odds of leaks. It adds that New Zealand is expected to get access first, a few hours ahead of the rest of the world, which could spread spoilers. Muting keywords on launch day is the safe move. Our release page keeps the calendar.

Why it matters

Nothing official yet: codes are reportedly out, per one leaker echoed by the press. Still unknown: the exact embargo date, which outlets were served, and the spoiler rules reviewers must follow. The answer lands by November 18 at the latest.
