Lucia Caminos is one of GTA 6's two protagonists alongside Jason Duval; Rotek sums up what Rockstar says about her and what remains unknown.

Who is Lucia? The question comes up daily in searches. Rotek has published a full profile of the protagonist, which I cross-check here against what this site already covered. One rule: what Rockstar states on one side, leaks on the other.
Lucia is a young Latina whose story begins after time in the Leonida Penitentiary; why she was jailed is not known. According to Rotek, quoting her official profile, her father taught her to fight "as soon as she could walk". She gets out through a "pure stroke of luck" the game keeps secret, and the launch trailer shows an ankle monitor on her.
Rockstar does not frame her as a criminal chasing power. She wants to give her mother the "good life" she dreamed of back in Liberty City, and to act rather than dream.
Lucia is one of two playable characters with Jason. Rotek notes it is the first time a woman holds a central protagonist role in the series. The official pitch describes a couple who always felt "the game was rigged" against them: an easy heist goes wrong and drags them into a conspiracy across the fictional state of Leonida. Her profile says "a life with Jason could be her way out". We also covered the comparison with Arthur Morgan and Niko Bellic.

Rotek writes that the actress is officially unknown, with the name Manni L. Perez coming up most. Rockstar has not confirmed it. Leaks attributed to Cyberleek show, per the outlet, a cutscene, Vice City exploration and a parachute activity. Their authenticity is not guaranteed, and a disputed video was discussed in our 19 October article. This site draws no conclusions from them.
Nothing new from Rockstar, but a useful reference 26 days before launch: Lucia's profile matches what the publisher has said since the trailer. Still unknown: why she was jailed, her official voice and the story's structure. More in the journal.
