Someone watching the Knicks against the 76ers on Oct. 20 saw GTA 6 between two plays. Kotaku describes this first TV commercial: last week's launch trailer, lightly edited.

Kotaku calls it "basically the launch trailer", but two of the three shower shots are gone, apparently too spicy for broadcast, while guns, explosions and robbery stay. Viewers also reported it during Pistons-Celtics and Thunder-Spurs the same night, on NBA opening night.
Fans noticed other tweaks: a longer plane shot, a longer Jason and Lucia shot, a few extra frames after Jason punches Lucia's arm. Kotaku says none of it reveals anything new.
A social media user quoted by Kotaku claims the Xbox logo was removed because of the PlayStation deal. That is a fan observation, not a Rockstar confirmation, so treat it with caution. The game is still announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as our release page explains.

Kotaku expects the ad to return during the game-sponsored Heat match, covered here too. More broadly, prime-time TV marks the final stretch before Nov. 19: for many viewers quoted, the game suddenly feels real. No new date or price, but a clear sign of the marketing budget.
