Creative Bloq says brands from BMW to Hyundai are mimicking GTA 6 visuals a month before launch, while Rockstar has signed only a few official partnerships.

With under a month to go until November 19, everyone wants a slice of Vice City. Design site Creative Bloq lists BMW, Hyundai, JBL, Axe and Burger King among the brands that have 'imagined' themselves in Grand Theft Auto VI, using the instantly recognisable pink and orange gradients.

Creative Bloq points out that Rockstar does not sell in-game advertising and does not do collaborations the way Fortnite does. The official ones it names are rare: Miami Heat for merchandise and Oakley for the Collector's Edition. Everything else is imitation. We already covered the Burger Shot at the Kaseya Center, one of the sanctioned stunts.
The outlet says the Shrek 2 Remastered trailer shows how to do it, with an openly parodic intro. We wrote about it in our piece on the November 10 release. Subtle winks work, it argues, while an AI-generated vaporwave graphic does not make a brand cool, especially for phone networks or deodorant.
It also notes the odd reversal for cars: real vehicles now wishing they were in-game vehicles.

An ad that looks like GTA 6 is not necessarily a GTA 6 ad. Only partnerships announced by Rockstar or Take-Two count. The rest is trendjacking, and Creative Bloq expects more of it until launch. Check prices and editions on our price page.
