Hardly anyone dares release near November 19. Shrek does. IGN reports that Shrek 2 Remastered, revealed at October's ID@Xbox showcase, launches November 10, nine days before GTA 6.

IGN says Aspyr Media opened its trailer by acknowledging the elephant in the room: Rockstar's game has convinced most publishers to steer clear of its window. The clip recreates a Vice City vibe and its own take on GTA's box art. Polygon confirms the video borrows the cinematic style of Rockstar's marketing and lists Switch, Switch 2, PS5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X as platforms.
It is an updated version of the 2004 action-platformer first published by Activision on GameCube, PS2 and Xbox, with four-player co-op. Polygon mentions better textures, a revamped interface and upgraded cutscenes. Pre-orders are open, per IGN.

Rockstar has not reacted. The parody says more about the weight of the date on our release page than about any real rivalry.
A smaller publisher sits just ahead of GTA 6 and laughs about it instead of hiding. It changes nothing for GTA 6, but shows how emptied the November calendar is around it.
