A month before launch, scammers did not wait. Sites are promising a copy of GTA 6, beta access or an early download for money, reports Cryptonews citing an October 19 Infobae article. The game only releases on November 19: any offer before that date is a scam.

Which GTA 6 scams are going around?

According to Cryptonews, Kaspersky spotted several pages targeting fans: fake pre-orders, fake beta access, fake downloads and crypto promotions. None gives legitimate access to the game.

The CyberLeek site, already mentioned in our leak file, reportedly offers the full game for $1,000 and a 24-hour trial for $100. It also asks for crypto donations through a campaign whose goal went from $50,000 to $500,000, with final, non-refundable payments, per the same source.

How do you spot a fake site?

The pages described by Cryptonews use scarcity counters, fake console codes or a PlayStation Store lookalike. That one reportedly charged Brazilian players 449.90 reais and asked for their CPF tax ID. Others require an unknown launcher or compressed file, which can redirect to third-party pages, harvest data or endanger the device.

The same article cites a CBS News Miami warning about fake early-access ads on social media that install malware stealing passwords and money.

Where can you safely buy GTA 6?

Only from official stores, at the known prices: 79.99 euros standard and 99.99 euros Ultimate, digital only. Preload opens November 12, unlock is November 19. Our buy page lists the stores and the price page the editions.

Why it matters

Nothing changes on the calendar, but it is a useful reminder: the closer launch gets, the more fake links appear. No PC version announced, no beta, no leaked copy that can be safely sold. If a link promises GTA 6 before November 19, do not click and do not pay.
