GTA 6 carrying a PEGI 18 was already known. The detail behind it nearly stayed hidden: according to Inven Global, the European body published a content summary for the game on October 2, then deleted it the same day. Screenshots taken before the removal have been circulating since.

A caveat first: neither PEGI nor Rockstar has confirmed the text, as the Korean outlet points out. Searching for GTA 6 on PEGI's site returns nothing today, and no reason was given for the removal. Everything below rests on unverifiable captures.
On drugs, the text describes use as frequent and prominent. Players could take illegal substances from their inventory, carry cocaine and snort it at any time, including alongside other characters. Inven notes the summary says nothing about how this affects health or missions.
On violence, it reportedly cites realistic gore: some weapons allow detailed decapitation and dismemberment of civilians, criminals, police officers and animals, with animal injuries shown in less detail than human ones.

Sexual content reportedly covers nudity, sex scenes and occasional fetishes. In nightclubs, players can pay for private dances and touch the dancer. The summary also lists discriminatory language on TV and radio, frequent profanity and in-game purchases.
Per Inven, the US ESRB reportedly assigned an M (Mature 17+) rating. Neither the ESRB nor PEGI listed gambling descriptors, which appeared for the Red Dead Redemption series and the PS5 version of GTA V.
In South Korea, the outlet says it confirmed through its own reporting that the GCRB rated GTA 6 Adults Only. We covered that in our piece on the Korean rating. It is the highest-profile title reviewed since the GCRB took over Adults Only classification from the GRAC on November 1, 2025. GTA V got the same label in 2013.
Little for the date: the game still launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a PEGI 18 nobody finds surprising. What the captures offer is a glimpse of what Rockstar told rating boards, and a frame for judging what the game will actually show. Until PEGI reposts its entry, read them with caution. All release details are on the release page.
