There is no legitimate way to play GTA 6 before November 19. According to GTA BOOM, that was the message of a CBS News Miami segment aired October 18 for fans tempted by an offer that looks too good.
The segment quotes Chris Mawson, founder and editor-in-chief of Power Up Gaming. Per GTA BOOM, scammers post fake social media ads linking to paid "early access". "When the user installs it, unfortunately, it turns out to be malware or a virus," he said. That kind of software can steal personal data or money, and fear of missing out feeds the trap.
Buy only from Rockstar's official site or a reputable store, never click a download link posted on social media, pre-order through real retailers, and pay by card rather than crypto, which is far harder to recover. Miami resident Oscar Chiffone told the station he will wait for the official release.
Same context. The Cyberleek leak fed fake builds, covered on our Cyberleek page, and Numerama flagged replica boxes sold as real games. For safe buying, see buying. Preload opens November 12, release is the 19th, and the unlock time is still unknown.

Nothing changes in the game, but a local Miami station running a prevention segment shows how big GTA 6 has become. No public build, no beta, no early access: any offer saying otherwise is a trap.
