Rockstar says GTA 6 holds "hundreds" of enterable interiors, from a gym to a gas station back office, according to MP1st's account of Bloomberg's feature.

Hundreds. That is the figure Rockstar Games gave during Bloomberg's behind-the-scenes feature on GTA 6, as relayed by MP1st. A city is also what you cannot see from the street: the rooms, back offices, counters.

According to MP1st, Rob Nelson plays Jason with a controller, calls Lucia and asks her to hang out. When she arrives, one button makes Jason kiss her, another lets them hold hands on a walk through a park. They then hit a gym, where Jason does squats while Lucia runs on a treadmill.
Next comes a bank Jason decides not to rob because of the guards, then the back office of a gas station, where the pair disarm the alarm and take the cash unnoticed. That is when Rockstar remarks, per MP1st: "There's so many of these little interiors, hundreds of them, that you can go and explore."
The trailers mostly show beaches, roads and crowds. Interiors were the blind spot: in GTA V most buildings stayed facades. Here Rockstar describes a world you can walk into, which fits Bloomberg's account of a single nightclub, with every patron animated and scripted, drinks, music and lighting matched.

The same feature fed our pieces on the sweat system and on Phil Hooker's remark that the game is never completely settled. It is consistent: the more places to dress, the longer the polish.
MP1st also quotes Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, who finds the story of Jason and Lucia more inspired by Red Dead Redemption II than by GTA V, which he calls welcome: "this is a story about two people who actually enjoy spending time together." He adds that replaying GTA V's first hour left him exhausted by characters who keep yelling at each other.
Nothing new on timing: release stays set for November 19, see our release page. What changes is the announced scale of the explorable world. We do not know how many interiors are scripted, which serve missions, or whether all stay open after the story. Rockstar only said "hundreds".
