PlayStation's website lists GTA 6's PS5 features and says the game is PS5 Pro Enhanced, without saying what improves. The launch trailer was captured on a base PS5.

Sony has published GTA 6's PS5 features on the official PlayStation website, VICE reports. The listing confirms the "PS5 Pro Enhanced" label but does not say what it changes in practice.

According to VICE, the PlayStation page describes how the game uses the console's hardware: DualSense haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, 3D audio and faster loading. These features appear in most big games of the generation, but their presence on the official listing amounts to a commitment from Sony and Rockstar. It is easy to picture a Vice City engine in the palm of your hand, or Leonida's rain in the triggers. Nobody knows yet how these effects will be tuned.
The PlayStation Store does indicate that GTA 6 is optimized for the PS5 Pro. But VICE points out that the listing details no improvement: sharper image, higher frame rate, or a mix of both. The outlet warns against reading the badge as a promise of a 60 frames per second mode. We have no confirmation either way, and Rockstar has published nothing on graphics modes.
One detail is reassuring: again according to VICE, the launch trailer footage was captured on a base PS5. If that is what the standard console delivers, the Pro version starts from a solid base. This rests on the source alone, which cites no Rockstar document.

There is no clear answer. We compared the consoles in our guide to which console to pick for GTA 6, and nothing in the PlayStation listing changes it. The game launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with preloading on November 12. Details of the Pro version will have to come from Sony or Rockstar, and not before.
The DualSense feature list is now official on PlayStation's side, which closes a small unknown. The Pro label remains a promise without numbers. Until a graphics mode is announced, it is wiser not to rush out and buy hardware for an improvement nobody has described. Practical details are on the release page.
