GTA 6 pre-orders already weigh on key and gift card shops. Insider Gaming spoke to Katarzyna Jakubiec, G2A's head of sales partnerships, who describes a clear effect on the platform. These are figures given by G2A itself, which we cannot verify.
According to Insider Gaming, PlayStation gift card purchases on G2A hit record levels during the pre-order period and keep growing toward launch. When Rockstar's pre-orders opened, traffic to GTA VI offer pages reportedly rose 65-fold. The game is said to be G2A's most wishlisted offer in 45 countries, including the UK and US, and in the overall top 10 of 46 countries.
The platform says it is preparing "waves of engagement" rather than a single launch-day peak, plus long-term support.
The outlet ties this to the lack of a disc at launch. On Rockstar's side the facts are simple: GTA 6 launches on November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a standard price of 79.99 euros and 99.99 euros for the Ultimate edition, sold digitally only. Preloading opens on November 12. We already noted that the Ultimate edition led the standard one in pre-orders.

A word of caution: gift cards are only a payment method, and third-party resellers carry risks. We have warned about fake pre-order sites. The official PlayStation and Xbox stores remain the safest route.
Little for players, but the signal is clear: part of the demand flows through code and card resellers, far from shop shelves. The exact unlock time is still unknown, and the official stores will decide it.
