GAMINGbible contrasts GTA 6's Goodtime State box, sold without the game, with the collector edition of Peak on PS5, which includes two copies.

The GTA 6 collector box keeps people talking. GAMINGbible sets it against the collector edition of Peak, a co-op climbing game coming to PS5, arguing the small indie beats the big releases.
The Goodtime State: Vice City Collection costs 399.99 euros in France and includes neither the game nor a download code. GAMINGbible lists a crocodile figurine, a hat, a bag and sunglasses. We detailed this collector without the game when it was revealed. The game is bought separately: 79.99 euros standard, 99.99 euros Ultimate, digital only.
Per GAMINGbible, Peak's collector edition contains a passport kit, a physical copy and a "buddy pass" that works as a second full copy for a friend. The site also mentions a since-deleted listing at retailer VGP showing $21.09. Treat that price with caution: the listing is gone and nothing confirms it was right.
The outlet also cites the God of War: Laufey collector, with a statue, cards and an art book, again with no copy of the game.

Mostly it is about tone. A 400 euro box and a roughly 20 dollar indie do not share an audience, and GAMINGbible openly writes a mood piece. One factual point stands: for GTA 6 as for God of War, the collector is a display item, not a way to get the game. See our goodies page for the products.
Nothing changes in Rockstar's offer: the box stays without the game. If you want the collector, budget for the game on top, close to 480 euros at minimum.
