For years, Steven Ogg acted as if GTA V did not exist. According to GamesRadar+, the actor behind Trevor Philips has changed his tune: he now talks about GTA 6 with real curiosity and floats the idea of streaming it with Ned Luke, who played Michael.
The moment comes from an episode of a series of GTA V livestreams Luke has been hosting for a few weeks, with Ogg as a guest. As GamesRadar+ reports, Ogg tells his co-star: "We should also do this with the new one, when the GTA 6 comes out." He adds that it will be "so different", especially when it comes to animation. Luke says he plans to finish his GTA V playthrough before November 19 so he can move straight on to the new game.
In February 2025, GamesRadar+ recalls, Ogg denied that he "hates" GTA, but said he would not be playing GTA 6. Thirteen years after GTA V, he now sounds far more enthusiastic, though the tone stays vague. The outlet itself admits it is unclear whether he is truly excited or just chatting with an old colleague.
One detail adds to the charm: Ogg asks Luke whether he is "in touch with them", presumably Rockstar. Luke hesitates, says "no" and laughs. Ogg jokes that he could say more, but would then have to silence his friend. None of this is information about the game, and we do not present it as such.

Ogg says he is curious about the actors, the game itself and its characters, compared with GTA V, which he keeps learning about. No one has announced that any of the three GTA V actors appears in GTA 6, and neither Rockstar nor the actors have mentioned a role. The stream is just an idea tossed out in passing: no date, no platform.
What is certain is the calendar: GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with preloading on November 12. Dates and editions are on our release page. No PC version has been announced.
Nothing about the game itself, but a signal about the mood. GTA V's cast, long quiet about the sequel, are starting to talk about it in public a month before launch, which is the kind of content that will fuel reaction clips. If Ogg and Luke follow through, it will most likely happen on Luke's channel, where he already streams GTA V. We will keep an eye on it, but for now it sits in the friendly chatter bucket, not the announcement one. For more on Rockstar this week, read our piece on Aaron Garbut and the 2022 leak.
