GTA 6 soundtrack: Justice composed the whole score, Rockstar says

French duo Justice wrote the entire GTA VI score, not just the trailer song, according to Tsugi. The first track, "Flower in a Hurricane", is already streaming.

We assumed Justice was a guest on one trailer song. It is more than that: according to French outlet Tsugi, Rockstar says Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé composed the whole score of Grand Theft Auto VI. The French Touch duo now owns the music that will follow Jason and Lucia across Leonida.

Who does what in GTA 6 music?

Two things are worth separating. The original score is Justice. The songs you will hear on the in-game radios belong to Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official 34-track compilation due November 19, alongside the game, as Actu.fr notes. "Flower in a Hurricane" links the two: credited to Justice with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, it will be on the album and is already streaming.

Collider adds that the song debuted in the launch trailer and that Rockstar promises more information on the music, score included, as release nears. No track list for the score has been published.

Justice and GTA: a long history

This is not their first meeting. Per Actu.fr, the duo already contributed songs to GTA IV in 2008, and has worked on Assassin's Creed II and Just Dance 2. Their latest album, Hyperdrama, came out in 2024, and a Grammy rewarded "Neverender", sung by Tame Impala. Rockstar's pick makes sense: a synth-heavy, very 80s electronic sound that suits Vice City's neon.

What we know of the first six album tracks revealed in September (Travis Scott, Keith Richards) is on our music page, and the trailer breakdown is in our launch trailer article.

Why it matters

Until now the talk was of a compilation of songs. The game now has an identifiable composer, and a French one. What remains unknown: whether the score will be released separately, how it blends with the radios, and which pieces Justice wrote for missions. Rockstar has not said. To hear it, we wait for November 19.
