The Cyberleek token has fallen to a $1.7 million market cap, down from a $7.8 million peak on October 11, according to IGN, echoed by IGN France. GTA 6 fans see it as the end of a scheme that tied every leak to a sum of money.

What the numbers say

IGN says the leaker set targets from $5 million to $25 million in market cap, each supposed to unlock another gameplay leak. The last goal, $30 million, would have triggered the release of a build of the game over 200 GB in size. With the token at $1.7 million, those thresholds look out of reach.

A collective call not to pay

IGN adds that players spent the week asking everyone not to spend a cent. Their argument: the leaker allegedly cashed out in August, with a transaction analysis pointing to roughly $270,000, and could do so again before launch. These are public blockchain estimates, not confirmed by the people involved.

What remains uncertain

IGN raises the real question itself: does Cyberleek actually have a build, and would it be released? The leaker could also ignore the targets and post content anyway. No reputable outlet has authenticated these claims as a whole, and neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two has confirmed anything. To avoid both spoilers and fake downloads, stick to official sources.

Why it matters

For the public the message is simple: buying the token guarantees neither a leak nor a game, and mostly exposes you to losing money. The release is still set for November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with preloading from November 12; all details are on our release page.
