A little over a month before GTA 6, GTA V is getting a makeover on PC: modder Kypos presents AuraV, a mod that adds path tracing to GTA V Enhanced, reports Clubic, citing Wccftech and the project's site.

According to Clubic, the mod reworks lighting with path tracing, replaces the sky, adds volumetric clouds and touches up water, rain, lightning and smoke. The difference shows most when weather changes or day turns to night: sunlight evolves more naturally and the Milky Way can appear at night.
It only runs on GTA V Enhanced on PC, in Story mode, and path tracing needs an NVIDIA GeForce RTX card.
No link with Rockstar, and no PC version of GTA 6 is announced: see GTA 6 on PC.
