GTA 6: CyberLeek returns with 25 minutes of gameplay and a dubious "build"

The leaker broke months of silence on October 8 with a roughly 25-minute video, six weeks before launch. What it shows, what it doesn't prove, and why you should avoid the download links.

CyberLeek had published nothing since late August. On October 8 the anonymous leaker came back with "GTA 6: An Extended Leek", an archive of about 370 MB holding nearly 25 minutes of footage, according to Dexerto. It landed six weeks before the November 19 release, on the very day Rockstar unveiled its radio stations.

What the video shows

According to GeeksLands, which relays descriptions from Eurogamer and VGC, most of it takes place at the Thrillbilly Mud Club, glimpsed in the first trailer. Jason and Lucia buy clothes and talk to racers, then Jason enters an off-road race before visiting a tuner and customizing a car. Several driving sequences are shot in first person. Rockstar has never confirmed a full first-person mode, so for now this is only a hint.

The detail that spread across social media: Jason walks around fully naked for several minutes and Lucia appears undressed at the end. Official ratings already flagged nudity, but nothing says the final game will allow it so freely. PCMag notes a tank suddenly appears at one point, which points to a developer menu or a modified build; HotHardware concludes the video teaches little that is new, since most of it has already been shown officially.

A "full build" to treat with suspicion

More worrying, GinjFo reports that the leaker's site now lists a file called "Development Build v1.0.1.08022025", billed as the most complete version of the game with open world, missions and online infrastructure. The outlet says it has neither downloaded nor authenticated it, and the link was dead at the time of writing. There is a precedent for caution: in August a supposed 100 GB build carrying CyberLeek's name turned out to be malware. Do not download anything.

Take-Two still silent

According to PCMag, the comeback suggests Take-Two has made little progress identifying the leaker despite subpoenas aimed at several platforms. The outlet also notes a new crypto donation appeal and a rise of about 50% in the leaker's token. Take-Two had not answered its request for comment. We are not linking to or showing any of the material.

Why it matters

For players the risk is mostly spoilers: cutscenes and story moments are already circulating. For the launch nothing changes: the date remains November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and an old or modified build says nothing certain about the final game. Our release page tracks the official information, the only kind that counts.
