On September 15, several artists post close-ups of the same GTA 6 artwork. Press coverage reads it as the start of the soundtrack tease.

I drive the bus with the radio on, so when artists started posting the same image, I turned it up. On September 15, according to IGN, Travis Scott, Future and Morgan Wallen all posted close-ups of a larger GTA 6 artwork, with no statement from Rockstar at that point.

Scott's post shows a woman's heeled feet, with a caption mentioning Rockstar. Wallen's, with no caption, shows a pool ladder in the studio's art style. Many saw a GTA 6 tease, which Future confirmed with a photo of a sports car carrying a Leonida license plate. Metro Boomin and Yung Lean posted the same image as his. The Argentine duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso posted a yacht, shared by Fred Again and an account claiming ties to PinkPantheress.
IGN, relayed by IGN France, infers that these artists will likely have music in the game. Those sharing the same image might be collaborating on the same tracks, but that is only a guess from the US newsroom, not something Rockstar said.
Each artist's exact role is unknown: licensed tracks, characters, or radio station voices. IGN recalls precedents: Dr. Dre as a character in GTA Online, Phil Collins in Vice City Stories, Ricky Gervais in person in GTA 4. For stations, we keep the radio page updated as announcements come.
IGN also notes that Stephen Root confirmed his role as Brian Heder that week, apparently through a slip rather than a planned reveal. The tease fits the campaign launched this summer with pre-orders and the Netflix presentation, which should continue until launch, then a little under two months away.
What followed confirmed the music side: GTA VI: The Album is out on November 19, launch day. The game is expected that day on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with preload on November 12, PEGI 18, €79.99 standard, €99.99 Ultimate and a The Goodtime State collector's set at €399.99 without the game. No PC version announced. Music details are on our music page.
In the series, music has always been part of a city's identity as much as its cars. By launching this tease two months out, Rockstar signals that radio will be one of Leonida's faces, with a lineup that leans toward hip-hop and contemporary country. I am reopening the bus radio.
