IGN details the broadcast schedule of the Extended Look. Netflix keeps the gameplay for six hours, and it is still not the long-awaited third trailer.

The date is set and the format clarified. According to IGN, Netflix will exclusively debut Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look this Thursday, August 27, and the show stays on the platform for six hours before reaching YouTube and elsewhere. IGN publishes a table of times by region, which I will not copy here: our countdown already counts the hours for you.
The question I have asked for weeks: where is the third trailer? IGN recalls that Rockstar revealed the cover art in June, some fans expected trailer 3 right after, but the studio released a large batch of screenshots instead. Trailer 2 dates from May 2025, more than 500 days ago, and still carries the old release date. Rockstar also did not tie this new show to the opening of preorders, the same article says.
The writer wishes the show finally gives a clear sense of both protagonists, Jason and Lucia, and our best look yet at the world in high definition. That is a wish, not a promise, and nothing in the article says otherwise. He also notes that the gameplay snippets that leaked in recent days "have only scratched the surface" of what Rockstar has been building.
One scheduling detail amuses me: Netflix, a streaming platform, carries a video game on a six-hour exclusive, like a film. A cinema ticket with no cinema. I will watch the countdown clock next to it, with the time zones neatly lined up, because a six-hour exclusive leaves a lot of people on the pavement.
The Extended Look aired on August 27, as our articles from the time recount. GTA 6 releases on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with preloading from November 12, a PEGI 18 rating, 79.99 euros standard and 99.99 euros Ultimate. No PC version has been announced.
A game of this size now shows itself through a cinema-style platform, not only on its own channel. To follow what comes next, the release page keeps the dates up to date.
