GTA 6 pre-orders went live on June 25, 2026 at midnight local time, one day after prices and editions were revealed. The Rockstar Newswire sets out the offer, Variety reports the launch price and Polygon lists what the top edition contains. If you have waited years for this moment, a few details deserve a look before you reach for your card.
The Ultimate Edition costs $99.99, twenty dollars above the standard version. According to Polygon, it mostly adds vehicles, weapons and shop access: the Grotti Cheetah '95, the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, and custom variants of Jason's Girardi ES9 pistol and Lucia's Klose K17. Two hideout vehicles for Jason follow, a Dinka Enduro and a Crest Kayak.

The shop and customization list is long: Rideout Customs, One-Eyed Willie's, the Ganado Retro Build kit, Sara's Unisex Salon, the Shitzu Squalo, the Stock 305, Goodtime Gear inspired by Macca the Gator and the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy. Rockstar says these bonuses are spread across Jason and Lucia's story, which suggests we will meet them as we progress rather than in a menu. The announcement also came with new screenshots.
The standard price is $79.99, according to Variety. The detail I want to underline lies elsewhere: at launch, the game is described as a "single-player experience" only. In other words, what you reserve at that price is Jason and Lucia's story, with no multiplayer component on day one.

A word of protection from me: compare the editions before paying, and keep in mind that euro prices can differ from dollar prices. We keep our price page up to date.
The schedule has firmed up since: release on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, preload from November 12, PEGI 18 rating. In Europe, the standard edition is 79,99 € and the Ultimate 99,99 €. The collector's edition The Goodtime State, at 399,99 €, does not include the game. GTA VI: The Album also arrives on November 19, and no PC version has been announced.
Pre-orders turn a date into a commitment. Rockstar is betting on bonuses rooted in the story rather than a simple skin pack, and that is debatable: for twenty dollars, you partly pay for the promise of content you will find while playing.
Before you confirm, ask yourself a simple question: do you want the extras, or the game? Read your retailer's terms, compare, and do not let the excitement of the moment rush you.
