Does one announcement hide another? Four days after the next GTA's development was confirmed, a Bully 2 rumour is back. According to Charlie INTEL, a YouTuber called Swegta said on a livestream that sources told him about a working build of the game, handed to a "smaller studio" at Rockstar. Let's be clear from the start: this is a rumour, and Rockstar has said nothing.
Per Charlie INTEL, that demo would reuse modernised elements of the first Bully, with cliques now called "factions". The YouTuber himself admits the project may have been scrapped for behind-the-scenes reasons. The evidence is thin: words, with no document or capture.

The thread comes from elsewhere. JeuxVideo.com recalls that insider Tom Henderson claimed in December that some people had seen a playable Bully 2 build a few weeks before the Game Awards, different from the artwork leaked in 2019. At the end of December, Game Informer nevertheless reported the game had been in development but no longer was. Henderson persists: something is going on with the series, be it a Bully 2 or a remaster.
After the GTA announcement, Henderson replied on Twitter that Rockstar's message never said the next GTA was its priority, and that he stood by his view. He also conceded that his information stayed blurry. Two voices, then, with different sources, neither verifying the other.
Henderson has a track record on Call of Duty, which explains the attention his words get. But here he speaks of an unnamed "something", with no date, and a Game Informer report says nearly the opposite. As for the YouTuber, he is the frailest voice in the file. Worth remembering, not worth building on.
The next GTA did get a date: release on 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, preload on 12 November, PEGI 18, €79.99 standard and €99.99 Ultimate. The Goodtime State collector costs €399.99 without the game, GTA VI: The Album is out the same day, and no PC version has been announced. As for Bully 2, to our knowledge Rockstar has made no official announcement since. The full calendar is in our journal.
This rumour says nothing about GTA, but it shows what Rockstar triggers by confirming a single project: every silence becomes a clue. For a gtavifrance reader the rule stays simple: one blurry source is not an announcement, and Rockstar warns its fans through the Newswire, not through livestreams.
